Democracy does not have a fixed identity; it changes with variations in cultural, economic, social and media circumstances. Although no democratic regime is exempt from criticism, one must acknowledge that not all forms of democracy are the same and that some are particularly damaging due to the quality of the way they work and the destinies of their citizens.
