This volume, edited by Riccardo Mario Cucciolla (IMT Institute of Advanced Studies) and published by Reset DOC, is based on the proceedings of the workshop “State and Political Discourse in Russia” organized by Reset DOC in 2016 and collects essays written by Nadezhda Azhgikhina, Alexey  Barabashev, Anton Barbashin, Giancarlo Bosetti, Maria Engström, Nina Khrushcheva, Olga Malinova, Andrei Melville and Vladislav Zubok, with a theoretical introduction by Mark Kramer.  Authors explore the multiplicity of discourses associated with contemporary Russia and different places of ideological production, revealing the plurality and fluidity that characterize Russian political languages. What cultural and ideological references shape Russian political culture? Which are the ideological constructs promoted by the Kremlin? What remains of Russian liberalism and who are its representatives?
