Dr. Balša Lubarda is the Head of Research at Damar Institute in Montenegro. Prior to that, he was a Fulbright Visiting Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley and the Head of Ideology Research Unit at the Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right. Lubarda is the author the book Far-Right Ecologism: Environmental Politics and the Far Right in Hungary and Poland (Routledge, 2023) and several scholarly articles dealing with far right, environmental, and energy politics. He regularly provides commentary for international media outlets such as The New York Times, BBC Radio, Politico, Euronews, OpenDemocracy, Fair Observer etc.
